It is a generic term used to refer to a plant genus producing different species of flowering herbs that include Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis. Sativa and indica are the most preferred species due to their recreational and medicinal benefits. Cannabis ruderalis is not as popular as the other species due to its lower THC levels and small stature. Cannabis is available in three primary forms listed as marijuana, hashish and hash oil. It can be smoked in joints, through bongs and vapers or mixed with edibles e.g. cookies, cakes, drinks etc.
