Sol CBD Review
Does Sol Really Deliver?
I’m sure you’ve always wondered if it was possible to get CBD oil that was USDA Organic. Can a CBD oil really have it all? Keep reading to find out.
Today, we’re going to talk about how Sol CBD hits all the marks of a quality CBD oil.
One of the most important factors
You can judge a CBD company by how well they make a flagship product. Just like you can judge an Italian restaurant based on how it makes spaghetti and meatballs, you can judge a CBD company by how well it makes a standard tincture. Sol CBD’s Whole Body Activation tincture is their leading premium CBD product. The only ingredients in this product are hemp oil, CBD extract, and MCT oil. Simple and effective, this product uses hemp that is sourced from organic farms in Colorado. The Whole Body Activation tincture comes with 300 mg CBD per bottle in either cinnamon or natural flavors. As far as CBD oil goes, this natural flavor is pretty good.
Unique pricing structure: a benefit
Sol CBD does one thing we’ve never seen a company do before — offer discounts by volume. The pricing structure for the 300 mg bottle goes like this:
- $65 for a single bottle (save $14)
- $124 for 2 bottles (save $34)
- $174 for 3 bottles (save $63)
The graduated pricing structure applies to all of their products. This may come especially handy for this next amazing surprise.
High potency oil
Sol CBD makes a High CBD Concentrate tincture at a whopping 3,600 mg of CBD per bottle. One of these will cost you $327 for a single bottle, but only $867 for three bottles, a savings of $324. For those who need a high dosage of CBD, this may be a huge value. The High CBD Concentrate tincture has the same ingredients as the classical CBD Whole Body Activation — just with over 3x more per dose.
Let’s get this out of the way
We believe the best products come from transparent and honest companies. Sol CBD lab tests their products with a third party independent lab for purity and potency and posts the results online, so you know exactly what you’re getting. Sol CBD goes the extra mile — they get the terpene profile test done as well so you can see which terpenes are in your product and how much.
In a lab test from February 2018, a High CBD Concentrate bottle had 19 ppm of beta caryophyllene, a terpene also found in basil and oregano.
Top of the line extraction
Sol CBD extracts their hemp oil using a CO2 extraction method and cold processed oil. This method is considered the best by industry standards because it preserves the chemical compounds (the terpenes and cannabinoids) best to create a full-spectrum product. Any quality full spectrum CBD oil will show the presence of terpenes, rounding out the makeup of the hemp extract. We already know Sol CBD stands behind their full spectrum products because they also test for terpenes.
Many CBD companies advertise full spectrum products and extraction methods, but don’t prove the presence of terpenes through lab tests. If the extraction process is too harsh, the terpenes may be damaged and not make it into the final end product. Sol CBD has taken all of this into consideration by using gentle methods and testing thoroughly.
Liposomal CBD… a breakthrough?
We’re really excited about Sol CBD’s Liposomal Hemp Whole Body Activation product. This oil is different for many reasons. First, it uses rapidly dissolving hemp liposomes to shuttle cannabinoids into the body faster and deeper than regular CBD oil. Sol CBD uses an advanced technology to pre-dissolve their CBD oil and embed it in microscopic liposomes. They then add natural fruit extracts to make it taste good. This makes taking CBD much easier, especially when it’s easy to swallow and easy to digest.
How does this work?
According to Sol CBD, liposomes are double-layered liquid filled bubbles made from phospholipids. These spheres are filled with CBD and then transported into the body directly to the gut where they can be absorbed directly into the immune system, then blood, avoiding elimination by the liver. This creates a fast acting product with a high bio-availability. That’s cool.
Sol CBD uses sunflower sourced phospholipids, not synthetic ones. Unlike others on the market, this liposomal product does not contain GMOs, propylene glycol, ethanol, or artificial flavors or sweeteners.
Violet glass – How it Helps You
One thing we’ve never seen before is the use of Miron Violet glass. The liposomal product comes in a Miron Violet glass bottle. Sol CBD states that German scientists discovered that while certain wavelengths of visible light damage herbal extracts, in contrary, certain wavelengths of violet light actually enhance them. Who would have thought?
Apparently, Miron Violet glass is the gold standard for storing herbal extracts. Originally crafted in Switzerland, Miron Violet glass has proven to act like a preservative and prevent phytonutrient oxidation better than any storage media. This unique glass specifically lets in violet light while blocking other colors of light. Wow!
In order to take the Liposomal CBD product, squirt 4 pumps of product into a glass of water twice a day (the suggested serving).
The Founders, The Real Deal?
Another unique aspect of Sol CBD that caught our attention is the visibility of the founders. Oksana and Larry Ostrovsky are a married couple who have worked as natural health professionals for eight years. They run a few other natural health blogs and created two videos for Sol CBD customers explaining why they started the company and their beliefs about their work. For some CBD companies, you can’t find a number for customer service. For Sol CBD, you can know exactly who the owners are. Some company owners are so anonymous that if they were to get caught in a bad practice, their customers might never find out. Oksana and Larry are visible from the start.
So, can a CBD oil be USDA organic?
Yes. Sol CBD’s Whole Body Activation is one of the only products we’ve seen with a full USDA certified organic stamp. The full spectrum oil is made in a GMP certified facility with organic, Colorado grown hemp and the company went the extra length to get the end product itself certified organic.
Sol CBD has all the hallmarks of a great company — full spectrum and lab tested products, visible founders, organic certifications, and natural ingredients.
One more thing:
Sol CBD is committed to helping everyone who is dealing with chronic illness, disabilities, and those who are struggling financially. They offer a limited number of sponsorships available on a monthly basis and do their best to accommodate as many low-income applications as possible.
