What you Need to Know About This CBD Oil
According to Vape Bright’s website, the oil is derived from organic hemp and there are no additives other than natural cannabis terpenes included in the cartridge oil. Vape Bright is one of the few cartridge companies I’ve reviewed that doesn’t add carrier oils, like propylene glycol (PG), into their product. PG is a common additive in vaporizer oils and cosmetics, but it’s controversial because it’s perceived to be a toxic substance by many. PG enhances the cloud of smoke you get on an exhale. Just because you don’t see a huge cloud of smoke, doesn’t mean you’re not getting a proper hit.
Vape Bright uses Co2 extracted hemp oil. Co2 extraction is the standard in extraction technologies because it uses pressure and temperature to extract the oil instead of chemical solvents. Vape Bright’s clean product produces a nice, full-flavored hit. The company recommends using short puffs to avoid overheating the CBD or burning out the cartridge. The battery is activated on the inhale, making it very easy to use.
At the time we recorded the above video we did not have proof of lab testing from Vape Bright, since that time we have received access to their most recent lab results, see below.

Coloration and Viscosity
The Vape Bright oil is an amber-gold in color. This is characteristic of CO2 extracted oils. Darker, greener oils mean that the oil hasn’t been filtered (or has been filtered very little) and may still contain micro remnants of the original plant material. The cleaner, more gold in color the oil is, the more filtering the product has undergone. Co2 extracted oil is considered a best practice in the industry because it’s safe and preserves more of the other beneficial chemicals from the plant, like terpenes and other cannabinoids. The blend of cannabinoids and terpenes in an oil create a fuller, more robust product that is likely to produce enhanced effects on the mind and body. This is known as the entourage effect, a term used to describe that the chemicals work better in combination, as a whole, than isolated as individual components.
Because these cartridges are pre-filled, I’m unable to conduct a viscosity test, where I run the product down a piece of paper to see how thick or thin it is. However, you can clearly see the oil in the cartridge and the gold color is characteristic of CO2 extracted oil.
Flavor and Scent
How does it smell?
Not much of a smell on exhale. This can be nice instead of smelling artificial sweeteners.
How does it taste?
The Vape Bright tastes fairly flavorless. There is a subtle, amber molasses taste for lack of a better descriptor. This taste is characteristic of hemp-based vaporizer oils and is very, very light. You won’t notice much as this product is meant to be inhaled with short, sweet puffs. There isn’t a distinct, recognizable flavor. Some products add flavors, like strawberry or other fruity tastes. These can be nice, but often taste artificial and unpleasant. The Vape Bright is more neutral and subtle in its taste.
The Vape Bright Starter Pack comes with a small, padded carrying case for the cartridge and charger, which is convenient for users who want to carefully take this product on the go. When assembled, the product is still small like a pen, so it can easily fit into a purse without the case. Vape Bright only sells 200 mg CBD cartridges, but you can purchase three or five packs on their website and get a price break for buying in bulk. Overall, this is a nice product that is easy to use and gentle to inhale. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a CBD pen to take on the go. I am partial to products that stay as clean and chemical-free as possible and Vape Bright does a good job by using organic hemp oil, CO2 extraction processes, and keeping carrier oils out of their formula.
What’s Important To Know About Vape Bright
Vape Bright offers a Bright Care Guarantee — so if you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase you can receive a full refund within 60 days. It’s always nice when companies give you time to try their products under a guarantee. Short guarantee times don’t allow the customer time to fully assess the product and can be easily missed in the midst of our daily lives. Vape Bright doesn’t list where they source their hemp from and they don’t provide any information on whether they test their oils for potency and contaminants. This is something I believe all oil companies should do in order to create transparency and build trust with consumers.
